The information that we gather from the growth ring is very powerful. We extrapolate where the pith or heart is.
This, allows us to determine whether knots are 'through knots' or are 'different knots'. We can count and average the growth rings to determine rate of growth and whether the piece
is dense or non-dense.
End Scan makes Algis a 3D system and detects cup, twist and end splits. It can be added to the full Algis System or used as a standalone module for Wane-Up or Heart Center Detection.
